This is Nazia! I'm a Toronto based UX designer. A recent George Brown College graduate in the program of Interaction Design and Development. I thrive on being a creative problem solver. Since my childhood, I've been interested in doing creative work, like sketching, painting, and even makeup artistry. Now, I'm exploring user experience design! Over the years, I learned the basic design principles to develop the best solution for more extraordinary user experiences.
I'm driven to bring ideas to life, always curious and observing the world around me. Always excited to learn about new things to improve my skill set. Maybe a little old school, but I often get inspired by magazines and design books – keeping tabs on Pinterest and Dribbble for the latest design trends. I bring this inspiration to work on projects with my peers, exchanging ideas and perspectives to create new solutions. Always working towards helping clients achieve their goals while delivering better user experiences.
I work efficiently on interaction design projects, finding the best approach. Starting a project from ideation, I'm able to take it all the way to production and prototyping – using my skills in user interface design, graphic illustration, and even front-end web development.
Even when I'm not working, you'll find me in front of the computer or on my iPad. I enjoy making illustrations and taking (and editing) street-style photos. Both of these make me relaxed and excited at the same time. Not only do I enjoy the result, but I love the process of making something from scratch till the finish.
